Dr. Charles Gastle was called to the Bar in 1987, and is a founding partner of Bennett Gastle PC. A graduate of Queen's University (B.Comm.), the University of Toronto (LL.B.), and Osgoode Hall Law School (LL.M., D.Jur.), Dr. Gastle practices commercial litigation, and international trade law and arbitration, and building on his trade expertise, he is also involved in trade policy development.

Dr. Gastle has published extensively on international trade law and policy in both academic journals and newspapers, and appears frequently on television as a panelist or commentator on trade issues. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School since 2002, and a Visiting Professor at Aix Marseille University in France. He is also currently Director of the LL.M. program in international trade and competition law at Osgoode Hall Law School.
