
Mel Annand, Q.C.
AssociateMel Annand is a member of the Bar of Saskatchewan, and has practiced agricultural law since 1977. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and completed his LL.M. in international trade law in 1998. His thesis was titled “The World Trade Organization Regulation of State Trading Enterprises”. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1994, and is a former Bencher of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Saskatchewan Legal Education Society.
Mr. Annand is an Advisory Board Member of the Centre for the Study of Agriculture, Law and the Environment a the University of Saskatchewan, and recently accepted an appointment as Assistant Professor at the College of Law to teach agricultural law.
